From 26 September, electronic waybills (e-CMR) will be fully operational in Italy as well, marking a decisive step towards the digitisation of road freight transport.
Unioncamere and Uniontrasporti have accompanied the companies and stakeholders of the logistics sector during this transition, and will continue to support this process with the project "Paving the way for the digitalization of the road transport in Italy", co-financed by the IRU (International Road Transport Union).
Within the project activities, there are dedicated moments for training and information. In this context, a free webinar will be held on 23 October for industry stakeholders to provide an update on the current state of digitalisation and the opportunities offered by e-CMR.
